OUT OF PRINT SINCE 1994

This is the first release featuring the vocals of Lance King, it's a melodic hard rock / Metal album pretty much half and half, meaning the band wrote songs in both styles, some progressive moments, some power metal moments, some riffy hard rock moments. The album has two rather nice instrumentals on it (Strait Up & The Harem), This album garnered some comparisons early on from people in the Glam to Metal realms as a hybrid of Van Halen, meets Joe Satriani in a dark alley where Queensryche lives.

This album can also boast that it's the debut of Nightmare Records, as it was the very first release to bare the Nightmare logo. The moniker that would become this brand of metal in the future was taken aptly by the song on this album, called Nightmare, which happens to be one of the most Progressive Power Metal songs on this release interesting enough.

Main Songwriters on this album were Lance King, Roger Moore and Rob Kruger.

Lance King (Vocals / Keys)

I was a Guitar player in a Garage band. I had the 80's look & everything that matched that era of rock. After the first time I've seen Gemini, I
immediately became a fan. I've seen Gemini several times back in the day. To name a few Clubs; Ryans Corner (now 4th St. Station), Dibbo's, Norma
Jeans and Payne Reliever. I am now 42 so I really can't remember the exact clubs. I carried this cassette tape (remember those?)everywhere I went
until I lost it. During one of their shows at "Norma Jeans" in Minneapolis I was standing by the soundboard & Lance Walked up &
started to talk with one of their techs. I approached him & began my 'story' about the tape & how much I LOVE IT! I told him that I lost it
and how disappointed I was. He reached over the soundboard & grabbed a NEW copy of the Cassette. He turned around & said to me in a very
heart-felt tone; (I will never forget his words)"It's fans like you that I need, you are the reason why I come to these venues and play for you.
I thank you & keep coming to our shows" He shook my hand while he handed over a new copy of the cassette. His eye contact told me that he
really meant it. Words can't describe how I felt at that moment. Yes, I was a TRUE fan of Lance & Gemini even more after that short conversation.
Lance may not remember this but I do. I will NEVER EVER forget it. A personal note to you Lance; I am NOT gay or anything like that but I Love you.
May your successes & everything that you do be fruitful in the years to come. Your hard work is inspiring to a lot of people out there. Much
appreciation is in order. Thank you Lance for that Short conversation & how you made me feel. One last thing; That night you guys did some
Phenominal Queensryche covers. I remember vividly that it was impressive. I was in AWE because I was/is a fan of them. You nailed every note. Anyways,
I personally feel that this CD is a must-have for any Gemini/Lance's Fans. Not much of a review & I apologize. Sorry.

Finally we all can enjoy the original Gemini debut project that has the early 90's areana rock sound very similar to Bon Jovi and maybe even a little
Tommy Shaw. Lance's perfect pitch won't leave any doubt in your mind why he's one of the premier vocalists of our time and the guitar work by Moore
and Kruger make this a must have album. While not remastered, the sound quality on this 1990 project is excellent. Thanks, Lance, for sharing your
early work with us!
