Based in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Beyond Fallen performs original heavy music with the primary goals being creativity and strong musicianship. Unmistakably metal in approach, the band draws from a variety of influences, covering a wide spectrum of musical genres but firmly sticking to their heavy metal roots. In exploring many of metal’s subgenres, they strive to write and record quality songs, as well as delivering firecracker live performances.

Central to the band’s style are the fierce riffs from the twin guitar attack, which create the wall of sound that the group is known for. Coupled with often progressive and at times even experimental songwriting, the Beyond Fallen style has grown into something both authentic and heavy.

Although guitarist Steve Jasuilewicz started a metal project in the fall of 2001, the band finally came together in the summer of 2003. Things went quickly from there, from the live debut in the fall to the first recording in December. In addition to Steve Jasuilewicz, the line-up includes Mike Johnson (guitar), Chuck Donahue (bass), Tom Carden (drums) and former Unleashed Power/Anger Reign vocalist Joe Karavis. With a steady live schedule in 2004, one of that year’s highlights was taking the top prize at Keystone College’s Battle of the Bands in the spring - thus making their mark regionally as a force to be reckoned with.

Beyond Fallen played some high-profile shows with heavy metal veterans Overkill, W.A.S.P, and Belladonna, continuing to get outstanding response wherever they play.

With the buzz growing on an international level, Beyond Fallen are establishing themselves as a band that is making an impression on the metal world.
