Charlotte has a unique sound influenced by Great White, Guns N’Roses, and Led Zeppelin, a hard rocking up, fun swagger of 80's melodic hard rock. The sound we miss. It seems only fitting that a band named after a wicked woman played their first gig at a club called Jezebel’s in Orange County, California. With a unique sound influenced by Great White, Guns N’Roses, and Led Zeppelin, they quickly garnered barrels of buzz and rode the wave of their rapidly rising popularity to other gigs, including renowned venues like The Whisky-A-Go-Go, The Roxy, The Troubadour, and FM Station, to name just a few. During their intense drive to grab metal’s elusive brass ring, they opened for the likes of XYZ, Vixen, EZO, and Paul Stanley, among others. Through it all, they were never content to follow the trend, always staying true to themselves and delivering vibrant, creative, unpredictable hard rock music.

Medusa Groove is a heavy-hitting declaration that the mythological war between Man and God is just as alive and intense today as is the timeless battle between the sexes. With a guitar riff that is sure to turn your brain to stone, track 1, Medusa Groove, perfectly launches the ship into the stormy waters of contemporary heavy metal. If you survive the initial onslaught, you will then be allured by the call of track 3, Siren, where a burly bass, sharp guitar cries, and commanding vocals blend backbone, power and mastery. The ageless fuel of masculine angst provides the juice for such outpourings as track 4, Little Devils. After an aggressive intro jacks you up, a funky Zeppelin-like groove rides you until you are nearly spent. But hang on, wait for it... because track 5, Miss Necrophilia, digs deep with a ripping guitar lick and macabre vocals that leave you feeling disturbed and aroused...at the same time. Charlotte then seduces smoothly with track 8, Changes, a rock ballad, then with track 10, Ocean of Love and Mercy, where a smokey sax flirts with bluesy, Doors-like guitars. It’s clear, Charlotte understands that, to get the girl, a full range of sensitivities and instrumentations are necessary. Think you are ready now? Perhaps...but only if you believe in the mythic power of rock and roll. With driving rhythms, brain piercing guitars, and visceral vocal textures, Medusa Groove is great for smashing trash cans, plotting vicious corporate take-overs, or trying to get yet another Medusa to help turn you into stone. However, like with track 6, She Get it Up, an up tempo Guns’ N Roses-esque hard-rockin' number, be careful what you wish for, she may be too much to handle. You might embody track 11, Invisible Man , and just like Charlotte, wait for just the right time to spring your aggressions. For these rockers, that time is now. Make sure you are ready.
